AI stands for Artificial Intelligence. It is technology that helps computers think, learn, and solve problems — kind of like giving a computer a brain!
Regular computers only do exactly what someone tells them to do. But AI computers can learn from examples and get smarter over time. That's what makes AI special.
🧠 Think of AI like a very fast learner. If you showed it 10,000 pictures of cats, it could learn to recognize a cat in any photo — even ones it has never seen before!
Where You Already Use AI
You probably use AI every single day without even knowing it! Here are some examples:
- 🎮 Video games — the computer characters that move and react to you
- 📱 YouTube and TikTok — the videos it recommends for you
- 🎵 Spotify and Apple Music — songs it thinks you'll like
- 🗣️ Siri and Alexa — voice assistants that answer your questions
- 📷 Phone cameras — face detection and photo filters
- 🔍 Google Search — understanding what you're looking for
The first AI program was created in 1956 — before your parents, grandparents, and maybe even your great-grandparents were born!
